Jim and Mary were curious when Tom stopped by briefly to speak to their daughter Pat. Mary preferred to remain home when Jim went to comfort Liz over the death of her husband Will, his brother. Granny gently chided Mary for not having accompanied her husband. Jim and Liz broached the subject of the business now that Will was dead and Liz was still involved.
