We’re approaching the halfway mark with Hettie Jago, David Harper and their delightful 1980s Mercedes 280 SL. This time, they begin in Brampton, Cumbria - 133 miles from their starting point in Perth. Hettie, an auctioneer and dealer from Nottingham, is on her very first Road Trip. She sticks to her first love, jewellery, buying two stunning brooches made centuries apart. Old hand David from Barnard Castle has scoured the entire UK over the years, and today roots out a First World War campaign chest, a stunning copper charger and a Bakelite heart-shaped box.
