The stories include: Vula who was about to lose her cat hoard and her hoarded home to the city and animal protective services; Dumpster diving, Al, whose three-year-old son had been removed from the hoarded home by child protective services; Jim whose exterior and interior hoard was so extreme, the city had condemned the property and his family was no longer allowed to return home without a clean up; Arline whose hoard was so bad her ailing husband was forced to sleep in a car: and Glen, the man with a 2500 rat hoard running through his house.
