Paul responds that he was always good at everything except loving. Betty and Claire meet at the hospital and develop a rapport. Allison rejects Connie and goes home with Betty. Rodney accuses Paul of goading George into attempting to kill Leslie. Claire receives a letter from Dr. Vincent Markham in Peru.
