Susan tells Tom she does not blame him for his feelings for Jill. Fred thinks it is better for Marsha and Carolyn if he leaves town, but this upsets Carolyn. It becomes clear Marsha is hiding the real reason for divorcing Fred. Tom acts out his anger on Jill.
