When greed collides with love and lust what could the outcome be? A local villager narrates a story about a young couple to a stranger. The tale is about the wife's love for gold ornaments and the husband's big heart to shower her with these treasures but when business is bad, the wife turns against the husband refusing to bail him out with her collection. An unfortunate twist robs the wife of her precious jewels and death seems to be the only answer. But who is this stranger in the village and why is he staying at this couple's house.
