Marisa wants to help Cleo with her dating life. Marisa is starting ""Chance Encounters"" a small dating newspaper service type, and as a part of Marisa's help, she takes a bag from one of the popular, hunky guys on campus, David Pitt. A knock interrupts them, thinking it's David, Marisa tells Cleo to answer the door in her underwear to make a first and lasting impression. She opens the door, only to find, it's not David.
