Stockholm, The Day of Peace, 1945. A spontanious kiss between two strangers in the crowd at Kungsgatan will lead up to big consequences. The war has affected the business at restaurant Djurgårdskällaren, driven by the Löwander family. The son, Gustaf, finds a risky way to solve the restaurants economical problems.
