The desperate radio appeals of a kidnapped girl are intercepted by a teenage radio amateur but it will be up to the District inspectors to identify the place where she is being held captive and free her in time for an urgent surgical operation. Inspector Anna Gori must regain the trust of Dorian who, knowing that she is aware of his membership in the criminal organization, fears she may report him to the police. A wealthy forty-year-old owner of a temporary employment agency is killed by a prostitute in an apartment rented by the hour. It will be up to the inspectors to prove the woman's innocence and identify the real culprit. Inspector Anna Gori has shown Dorian that he can trust her, but that is not enough to save her life.
