FOOK is shocked to find out that he has bought a collection of booty for a large sum of money. SHAU urges FOOK to inform HEI as soon as possible, but is rejected. LUK overhears their argument and tries to reconcile his quarreling brothers. The news finally reaches HEI. Filled with rage and grief, HEI gives FOOK a hard slap. CHI flies into a fury when she knows that SIM has shopped around with WONG’s money. SIM points out that she is only claiming a dowry for her daughter, who was betrothed to WAI well before her birth. What SIM says has come as a huge blow to CHI. CHI gets to know PING through WAI. Desperate to call off the engagement between WAI and SIM’s daughter, CHI asks PING to pretend to be WAI’s fiancee.
