Led by the current Rokubey, the 8th generation to take the name, it continues to produce elegant yet practical ceramics. Rokubey VIII is also a leading ceramic artist making original art objects. Yakushi-ji in Nara, which holds superb Buddhist art works, commissioned him to create a piece that will retain its presence throughout time.
