Prom 67: Zemlinsky and Brahms

Zemlinsky's Die Seejungfrau, based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid, is followed by Brahms's German Requiem, written in memory of his mother and his friend and supporter, Robert Schumann.
