Matt Hammitt / Hope Darst

Elaine Bradley sits down with Matt Hammitt, formerly of Christian rock band Sanctus Real, who shares how having a son born with a heart defect taught him how much more important family is than any professional success. He performs his songs "Lead Me" and "Try" and shares the inspirations behind these two songs. Elaine then welcomes up-and-coming artist Hope Darst, who discusses her ongoing need to fully give her heart to Jesus and trust in Him, even when things haven't gone the way she prayed they would. She performs her original song "Peace Be Still" and the hymn "Great is Thy Faithfulness."
