TING sends someone to renovate MING’s father’s memorial pagoda. It turns out she is scolded by MING and bitten by a poisonous snake. To delay the toxic attack, MING has to send TING to the ‘Sub-zero Cave’ and send someone to Hangzhou to get the medicine for her. MING stays with TING despite the possibility of getting infected. TING is deeply touched by MING’s care and honest behaviour. After getting healed, TING wants to meet up with MING before leaving for home. TING leaves angrily after MING stands her up. But in fact it is a trick that KIN plays. WAH scolds LING for corruption among his men and urges him to take charge of the scholar selection examination to compensate for his fault.
