FAT accompanies MAN to the place she works. MAN is very pleased with his thoughtfulness. The stock market goes up in a short time. MAN’s clients have therefore made big money from it. They all appreciate MAN’s talent and effort. MAN declares that she has already resigned because she knows she will no longer be trusted by GAI. She also implies that she is getting married but FAT dare not say a word about that. FAT knows that YEE is aware of his true identity. HO suggests FAT should give YEE a reasonable explanation. NIN, YEE and FAN go to watch an opera. NIN is eating his food greedily during the refreshment session. FAN thinks it is a reflection that NIN has no manners, which means a loss of face for her. YEE asks HO why he has to give up going to the States for better career development, and HO explains that he does it all for her. The cake designed by NIN has become very popular. FAN now refers to NIN as her boyfriend……
