Turning point: Does Germany have to arm itself militarily?

Shortly after the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced a “turning point” for Germany - including for the Bundeswehr. With the help of a one-time special fund worth billions and an increase in the defense budget, Germany should become more defensive.
