TIN leaves the KIUs in anger, leaving also behind CHING. When YIP comes round, he asks TSUN to give the decision of marrying CHAI a second thought. TSUN, nevertheless, has made up her mind. She goes down on her knees to plead with CHAI to marry into her family, putting him into a dilemma. WAH gives him some words of consolation. CHAI admits to YIP that he fears that he will get the KIU into trouble if his true identity comes to light.
