Lugin is unable to become Alexander's executioner. He is a nobleman and is ready to defend the emperor to the end. In addition, Peter comes to the rescue. Spartacus orders D'Arny to kill Cherkasov. Lugin reveals a secret to Peter: D'Arnie is his brother. Spartacus himself sets fire to the fire with Alexander, at which point Kuragin and the filler appear. Olga begs Mongo to retract his decision.
