A man's body is found in a wooden box inside a garage. Initial tests reveal that the victim died of starvation, in terrible conditions. Walter approaches the case with anguish, reflecting on his loneliness and stagnant career. Paola Ricci obtains a warrant to bug Luigi Profeta's home, holding him responsible for the guerrilla warfare in the neighborhood. Vitale discovers a new clan led by the Sansone family.
