HUNG feels doubtful of the death of FONG and AU. However, she cannot find enough evidence and the case is finally closed. KWOK wants to make HU replace AU's position. So he reveals his true identity to HU who is shocked to learn that he is in fact the boss of AU. Though on the surface, he agrees to cooperate with KWOK, he is in fact working for the police. HUNG really cannot believe that KWOK is the ring-leader of the underworld. Yet she decides not to bend law and justice for the benefit of KWOK but t. make him pay for his crime. With the help from the police, HU wins MVOK's complete trust. However, their collaboration arouses anger on CHING's part. For her safety sake, HU sends CHING to England. KWOK gradually grows suspicious of HU and HUNG and decides to test their loyalty to him.
