Vikram Singh and his family welcome Ma Thakur in the mansion. At first, Ma Thakur gets furious when Aditya introduces Sugni as his prospective wife but later agrees. Ma Thakur tells Aditya that she wants to meet Sugni's family. Aditya lies to Ma Thakur that Sugni is an orphan. Reva gets elated as Sugni was going to marry Aditya. Vikram Singh gets irritated when Ma Thakur states that hence forth she would take decisions on behalf of her family. The next day, the pundit fixes Sugni and Aditya's marriage date in the coming week. Gulabiya comes to visit Sugni. Ma Thakur overhears Sugni addressing Gulabiya as her mother. Ma Thakur informs Gulabiya that she was told that Sugni is an orphan. Gulabiya gets shocked on hearing it. Ma Thakur further questions Sugni about Gulabiya.
