Vikram Singh tries to make Sugni recollect the time when they were head over heels in love with each other. Sugni tells Aditya that she could not keep the necklace which Amrita had given to her before leaving. Aditya asks Sugni to keep the necklace with her. Aditya's aunt, Seema tells Sugni that she wants to wear the ancestral necklace which Ma Thakur had given to her. At that time, Ma Thakur enters the room and rages at Seema for wearing the necklace. Seema mockingly insults Lagariya when Sugni takes her blessings. Sugni tells Gulabiya that she wants to reveal the truth to Ma Thakur as she could not bear the family ill-treating her. Gulabiya stops Sugni. The family leaves to go to the kuldevi mandir. Ma Thakur tells Sugni that the lamp should not extinguish until the puja is accomplished. Sugni has difficulty in keeping the lamp from extinguishing.
