Episode 1

YUEN and GHONG, one former local despot and the other former government official, have long been next-door neighbours but yet at feud. SAM, YUEN's son, a young solicitor, is going home to celebrate his father's birthday. While DIP, CHONG's daughter, an open-minded student, is also going home for holidays. An amusing chao draws them together on the same home-bound train. CHONG is invited to YUEN's banquet, but he only asks his adopted son NGAI to send him a birthday present. DIP secretly follows NGAI to YUEN's house for fun. Without knowing SAM's identity, DIP is astonished to meet with him there.
