the police arrests Rishi for misusing the money he was allotted by the gas commission officials, for the consumers that suffered losses. While leaving in the police van, Rishi urges Indira to take good care of their baby. Indira however annoyed and disturbed, informs him of aborting his baby. Rishi gets stunned by Indira's decision. On his journey towards the police station, Rishi pleads Vanraj to give him a chance, to prove his innocence. Vanraj hence, helps Rishi to rescue from the police's grip. Indira on the other hand, gets saddened after considering the vicious circle of fate that created a barrier between Indu and Rishi's father-daughter relationship, the one that also created a rift, between Indira and her father in the past.
