The series is set in the Hejaz, specifically the city of Jeddah in the late Ottoman era between 1876 and 1918, and the work is based on some of the folk tales that were prevalent in that period, and also touches on social stories, in addition to it includes events that were known as «sedition», «bullying» and some practices of outsiders of the regime
