Jour de fête follows an inept French mailman who keeps getting distracted while chatting with locals and checking out a traveling fair. Inspired by what he sees in a newsreel and fueled by drink, he tries to speed up mail delivery using his bicycle, leading to one hilarious mishap after another in small-town life.
