"I was hoping to revisit Lilo & Stitch and discover I had overlooked a gem of Disney’s 2D golden age. I was disappointed. The painterly animation is nice, as is the inclusion of Elvis Presley and artifacts like the footage from Earth vs. the Spider. But the characters are flimsy and the story just feels like a series of cheap gags. 🌺🌺.5 / 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺."
