During World War II, a German living in India is blackmailed by the English into impersonating an SS officer on a cargo ship headed from Japan to Germany with rubber for tyres. Once aboard, his mission is to disable scuttling charges so the captain can’t sink the ship if they’re intercepted by English warships.
