A down-on-his-luck ronin in old Edo takes a job from one rival faction to kill the other side’s prized pet cat. When he can’t go through with it, he ends up caring for the cat instead, drawing him into a quirky clash between animal-obsessed gangs and a few inevitable street scuffles.
