Across three generations of a Hungarian family, the film follows a wartime orderly driven by extreme urges, a determined competitive eater chasing fame, and a withdrawn young man who finds purpose in taxidermy. Each chapter pushes bodily obsession and dark humor to uncomfortable extremes, shifting from lust to gluttony to a fixation on preservation and death.
