In a wealthy suburb where adults are distracted and emotionally disconnected, a withdrawn teenager discovers his friend’s death but keeps it from the authorities. When local youths kidnap a child and demand help recovering a stash of pills, he is pulled into a tense scheme exposing the community’s hidden dysfunction.
