Near the end of World War II in northern Finland, two enemy soldiers separately escape death and end up under the same roof when a local woman shelters them on her remote farm. With each person speaking a different language, fear and suspicion collide with everyday needs, leading to tense standoffs, comic misunderstandings, and unexpected moments of connection.
