In mid-century Portugal under a fascist dictatorship, an ultra-patriotic masked hero takes orders from the government and charges into a crusade against the supposed “red menace.” This sharp satire spoofs superhero tropes while poking at paranoia, propaganda, and the everyday habits of a closed, suspicious society.
