Following up on the prior western, a peaceful farmer named Frank learns that killers of his brother are pardoned. Fueled by revenge, he leaves home with a young ward and heads west, with a newspaperman getting pulled into events as they tangle with danger, a bank robbery, and a courtroom fight.
