I came here to review movies and chew bubble gum. And I’m all out of bubble gum. They Live is as fun as the satire is biting. It feels like a 90 minute Twilight Zone episode in the best way possible. The chemistry between Piper and David shines so bright, you may need sunglasses to watch this bromance on screen, exemplified by an extended fight sequence that says quite a bit about who these two are. The aliens look great, but wish they had turned the grotesqueness up a little further. Iconic film! 🕶️🕶️🕶️.5 / 🕶️🕶️🕶️🕶️🕶️.
