In Scandinavia around 1,000 AD, a mute warrior gains freedom after years of captivity and escapes with a young slave. Their journey carries them onto a Viking ship and into a strange, fogbound new land, where the crew faces violence, fear, and a harsh fate while the warrior begins to understand himself.
