A group of skateboard boys leave their South Central neighborhood to skate in Hollywood and Beverly Hills, where their look and attitude draw attention from wealthy local girls. As they get pulled into escalating conflicts, they face trouble with the police, jealous peers, and increasingly nervous adults trying to regain control.
