In Vietnam’s aftermath, a disillusioned war journalist recruits a burnt-out veteran to help smuggle heroin stateside, aiming to deliver it to his wife. As corruption and law enforcement close in, their plan collapses and the group is forced into a tense flight while trying to stay one step ahead of crooked agents.
