In a remote yurt amid endless snow, an elderly couple clings to ancestral traditions as hunting grows harder, animals die mysteriously, and the ice melts earlier each year. With only occasional visits linking them to the outside world, worsening illness pushes one partner to set out on a long journey to reconnect with their estranged child.
