On a remote Scottish island, four young refugees wait for decisions on their asylum applications while trying to cope with uncertainty, isolation, and unfamiliar surroundings. Among them, a once-accomplished musician has stopped playing, but friends and local encounters gradually challenge his withdrawal and encourage him to reconnect with his past.
