In the Amazon rainforest in 1979, a film crew faces mounting troubles as they try to bring an ambitious project to life. From casting issues and tribal conflict to accidents and harsh conditions, the biggest challenge becomes dragging a massive steamboat up a mountain while the director leans into “madness” to realize the vision.
