There are some good laughs to be had during Brothers; Peter Dinklange is probably the highlight. It plays a bit like a Coen Brothers movie, although while most of the comedy lands, the visual flourishes and intellectual layers aren’t there. It also feels like Brendan Fraser, the antagonist corrections officer on the hunt for Brolin’s Moke and Dinklage’s Jady, is playing a bit too broad. Entertaining enough, but with this much talent in front of and behind the camera, hard not to hope for something more. 💎💎💎 / 💎💎💎💎💎.
