Kimi is very much a time & place movie. Some over parallels to Rear Window, the story touches on the biggest stories of 2022, including continuously invasive technology, the responsibility of tech companies, sexual assault and COVID. But they are all weaved into the story pretty naturally, and not as clumsy as a lesser filmmaker might have. In the end, it’s a tight little thriller and firecracker of a movie. 🎧🎧🎧🎧 / 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧.
