The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes

Songbirds & Snakes is surprisingly watchable. It’s an adept character study anchored by a fantastic performance from Tom Blyth as Coriolanus Snow. His career should be one to keep an eye on. Unfortunately, the rest of this movie keeps it from being great. It’s probably too challenging to kids, but the fact that there’s not a drop of blood to be seen on a film in a movie about gladiatorial games will make it too toothless and sanitized to be remembered or taken too seriously. 🐍🐍🐍 / 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍.

It was a nice film though I’ve liked the original Hunger Games series with Jennifer Lawrence in them a lot more than “The Ballad of Songbird and Snake.” Because it has more thriller.
