A baby survives a plane crash in a remote part of Africa and grows up to become a tribal seer, known for reading signs through ritual bones. Now older but still sharp, he tries to pass his wisdom on to his son and guide him into adulthood, but their clashing, obsessive personalities make the task far from simple.
