In 1971 Portland, a charismatic leader guides a small group of addicts who rob drugstores and hospital medicine cabinets to support their habits. As the law closes in and their reckless lifestyle becomes harder to sustain, the group faces pressure that forces its leader to reconsider the path they are on.
