During a romantic picnic in the English countryside, a young couple witness a deadly hot-air-balloon accident and rush to help. In the aftermath, one of the other rescuers develops an intense fixation on the man, putting pressure on his relationship and forcing him to confront guilt, fear, and unsettling questions about love.
