Jack is one of those “for the whole family” movies, but unfortunately can never really pick a tone. It’s not really enough fun to be a kids movie, and it’s way too sentimental to be for adults. It also has one of the least satisfying ending I’ve ever witnessed. Then, on top of that you have a couple elements to this movie that have not aged well at all - unfortunately watching Bill Cosby on screen hits different in 2025. 💫.5 / 💫💫💫💫💫.
