If you can muster through the bleak opening act, this dark comedy has some interesting things to say about the way we can weaponize martyrdom and how we use it to manipulate and attach agenda to it. It’s clever and ultimately heartfelt material if you’re willing to go along for the ride. Williams is delivering a great performance, too. 📓📓📓.5 / 📓📓📓📓📓.
