If you didn’t know basic Spanish, you might think the title of this movie translates to something like, Teenage Boys Are Horny: The Movie. It’s a glib, but not inaccurate summation of the movie that cemented Alfonso Cuaron as one of the world’s great contemporary filmmakers. While Julio and Tenoch learn about life, emotions and relationships, they also lose their innocence and free spirit, set against a Mexico that is going through a different, but similar transformation. 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽 / 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽.
